Commonly known as the Calathea Medallion. or the Rose-Painted Prayer Plant. this moderately fast-growing plant is native to tropical rainforests of northwestern Brazil. Its huge oval-shaped. light to dark green. feathery-looking leaves will bring the tropical rainforest vibes to your space!
Being that it's from a tropical environment. it thrives in moderate to high humidity. consistently moist. but not wet/soggy soil. indirect bright light and will grow up to 1 to 2 ft. tall indoors. This makes them great to place on a desktop. bookcase. cubby or small nook in your home that is well-lit. but doesn't get direct light.
